A walk in the snow
Right-Left Righ-Left.
Focus on your steps, on the alternance, on the rythm... enter the tunnel and empty your mind, forget your griefs, troubles and bad thoughts.
A walk in the snow is a rythm game, where you leave your thinking behind and accept to enter pure focus.
Gameplay
- A normal simple rythm game: when the player passes above an arrow, hit the matching key on the keyboard.
- Good key gives bonus, bad keys or missed arrows give malus. The bonus is represented by the picture in the bubble.
- You score all along the walk, according to your bonus.
- The terrain is randomly built
- The 3 levels only change the pace of the walker and the length of the walk
Dev comments
I've been wanting to test and dev a rythm game for a long time. But as always 3 hours were very short. I had to cancel a lot of "polish", little elements, and even bigger features like an and animation.
The worst thing is the lack of "juice" for the good / bad arrows, and combo messages and so on... all that make a rythm game fun!
