Blue sharks, red flags
A "Red Flag" - Trijam #360 entry
Waves of reckless swimmers rush toward the sea, unaware of the danger ahead. From his lifeguard chair, the lone rescuer can’t chase them — instead, he throws red warning flags across the sand. Each flag creates a safety zone that clears anyone inside it.
Game play
- With the mouse you throw red flags (5) on the beach to stop the swimmers.
- The power of the throw depends on how long you click
- Throw too far: the flag falls in the sea
- Throw too near: Ouch! in your feet
- The score directly depends of the number of saved vs lost swimmers
Implementation
- Coded on Godot 4, 3hours
- Graphics with Adobe, 1.5 hours
- Sfx from https://freesound.org/
